Turkey Leg Saté
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tbsp ground coriander seed
- 1 tablespoon soft light-brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch ground red pepper
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4 tbsp soy sauce

- 2 turkey legs
- 2 dsp olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the first 9 ingredients in a bowl.
- Cut deep slashes into the turkey legs and add to marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate 10-12 hrs or overnight.
- When ready to cook, line a baking dish with foil, place the turkey legs and marinade in the dish, put a dessertspoon of oil over each leg and cover the legs lightly with the foil.
- Bake in a preheated hot oven 200°C for 1hr, then open up the foil and bake for a further 20-30mins basting now and again.
- Serve with cooked rice and rocket salad.
